My son absolutely loved this preschool and learned so much from his teachers and fellow students. He has thrived at GCNS and it has been great to watch him grow this past year!

When I pick my daughter up, she is excited to tell me all about her day. When I tell her it's a school day, she is excited to go. When we spend time together as a family, she can participate in our conversations, sharing what she has learned at school. Every day is different, fun and full of stimulating activities that leave her wanting more. She wants to learn to read and go to kindergarten and GCNS has helped her become ready for these milestones, albeit a year too early since she's only 3.

Learn through play was the best option for my boys who needed the interaction, but couldn't handle a ridged learning environment.

Next year will be our fourth year at GCNS. Both of our kids have loved their experience here and we couldn't imagine being anywhere else. The activities and crafts are creative and well thought out. The teachers are approachable for parents and awesome with the kids. We have developed great friendships with all the other families attending the school which will carry on even once we don't have children in the school. We recommend it to everyone we know looking for a top-notch playschool.

We chose GCNS for many reasons.  The school has been in operation for almost 4 decades, with teachers that are kind, dedicated, and bring many years of experience teaching young children.  Some preschool classrooms have little to no windows, whereas GCNS has a spacious classroom with large windows for the kids to get natural light and check the weather at calendar/circle time.  We really like that the preschool is located within a school, which gives daily access to the gymnasium & equipment, school grounds and playground (weather permitting).  There are always a variety of activities to choose from in the classroom, from crafts, to games, books, sand table, water table, train table, playhouse, puzzles, blocks and play dough, often tying into the set themes.  Our children will each have spent two years at GCNS and both loved their time there, with the play house and sand table being their favourites.  The program more than prepared my daughter for kindergarten.  She still enjoys going back to visit on occasion when dropping her little brother off.  Parent involvement was key for us; we wanted to be a part of our children's first school experience.  Being able to volunteer in class and knowing what each day entailed reassured us that GCNS was an outstanding preschool.  The executive and teaching team work well together to produce a truly successful program for early childhood learning and development.  I would definitely recommend GCNS to families who are looking for a high calibre program, and are interested in getting involved in their child's education from an early age.
